Yesterday in Moscow, thousands of people manifested against Vladimir Putin, most likely the winner of the presidential election in Russia on March 4th. In contrast to this urban challengers, Putin has the major support of the working and rural populations. We see this paradox everywhere: those who work and have greater legitimacy to choose prefer reinforced authority, and are those who produce the least but also want to eat that develop the egalitarian and democratic ideas, which for the sake of coherence and consistency ultimately benefit the entire society.
