Newt Gingrich was still hoping to revive his candidacy for the GOP nomination to the US presidential election. With this in mind, he was committed to win in the remaining southern states, where he has greater support. By losing yesterday in Alabama and Mississippi, Gingrich is definitely out of the Republican race. A great relief to the former speaker of the House of Representatives, who will have more time for visiting zoos and petting dinosaurs, and also escapes to a defeat far more difficult to swallow against Obama in November. Gingrich was so happy, he announced he will celebrate by continuing in the ballots till the end, despite no one is hearing what he says anymore.
